I particularly wish for leftists and activists to address this.\nAnimals are people. Why shouldn't they be? They are sentient beings. They have their own thoughts and minds. Most are less intelligent, yes, but some humans have a similar level of intelligence as farmed animals. For instance, 2 year old humans have been outpaced by pigs on particular cognitive tests. If we consider 2 year olds to be people, then we must concede that intelligence level is not a factor.
